Philadelphia, PA – Senior
Zack Molloy (Toms River, NJ/Toms River HS North) won three races to lead the Rider University men's swimming and diving team in a meet versus La Salle and Delaware on Saturday afternoon at Kirk Pool. The Broncs fell to the host Explorers, 170-129, and defeated the Blue Hens, 182-117.
Rider (3-2) has now won three of their last four dual meets after dropping the season opener at Seton Hall.
Molloy won three individual races for the second dual meet in a row as the reigning Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week seems to be rounding into form. Molloy won the 200 free (1:42.57), 50 free (21.24) and the 100 free (46.51).
Molloy was also part of the 400 free relay quartet alongside freshman
Daniel Bonge (Allentown, PA/Salisbury High School),
Vincent Gibbons (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick) and
Maciej Paz (Garfield, NJ/Paramus Catholic) that ended the meet with a second-place finish with a time of 3:11.65.
Sophomore
Justin Carey (Landenberg, PA/Avon Grove) finished second in the 100 back (52.25) for the Broncs and he also won the 100 fly with a time of 49.39. Â
To start the day, Carey was part of the Bronc 200 medley relay quartet alongside alongside
Carter Paules (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus), Paz (Garfield, NJ/Paramus Catholic) and Gibbons that finished second with a time of 1:33.64.
The Rider divers posted strong showings once again on Saturday. Freshman
Dillon Walles (The Woodlands, TX/The Woodlands High School) finished second in the 1M with a mark of 291.40, while
Joseph Warker (Reading, PA/Wilson) came in third with 267.05. Walles also won the 3M with a mark of 315.00 and Warker came in second with a score of 274.55. Â

- Following the team's last dual meet, Molloy was honored as the MAAC Men's Swimmer of the Week for the first time this season. Â Â
- The Broncs have now won 20 of their last 22 dual meets dating back to the 2014-15 season.
- The men came in first in five of 16 events.

Cole May came in third in the 100 fly with a time of 52.48 and second in the 200 fly (1:55.59).

Griffin Hutton finished third in the 200 fly (1:57.71).

Lucas Musselman finished second in the 200 back (1:55.27) and third in both the 100 back (52.79) and 200 IM (1:56.63).
