Men's Swimming and Diving Splits Versus La Salle and Delaware

The Broncs beat the Blue Hens and fell to the Explorers on Saturday

Philadelphia, PA – Senior Zack Molloy (Toms River, NJ/Toms River HS North) won three races to lead the Rider University men's swimming and diving team in a meet versus La Salle and Delaware on Saturday afternoon at Kirk Pool. The Broncs fell to the host Explorers, 170-129, and defeated the Blue Hens, 182-117.

Rider (3-2) has now won three of their last four dual meets after dropping the season opener at Seton Hall.

Molloy won three individual races for the second dual meet in a row as the reigning Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week seems to be rounding into form. Molloy won the 200 free (1:42.57), 50 free (21.24) and the 100 free (46.51).

To start the day, Carey was part of the Bronc 200 medley relay quartet alongside alongside Carter Paules (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus), Paz (Garfield, NJ/Paramus Catholic) and Gibbons that finished second with a time of 1:33.64.
