Rider University Athletics - Department of Sports Medicine
The Rider Sports Medicine Department is directly responsible for the Health and Safety of all of Rider University's 21 intercollegiate sports teams. The Athletic Training Facility located inside of Alumni Gymnasium (Building 2 on the campus map) provides multiple treatment and rehabilitation options for safe return to play after athletic injury.
A Certified Athletic Trainer is a health care professional who collaborates with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients and clients. Athletic training encompasses the prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities.
Under the direction of Team Physician Dr. Sean Cook and Head Athletic Trainer Tim Lengle, Rider University provides a team approach to healthcare which includes multiple aspects to provide the best possible care to our Bronc Athletes.
Student athletes/parents can log into the the ATS Portal to report a new injury, request an appointment, complete forms and upload files. If you have any problems logging into the ATS Portal, please contact the Sports Medicine Department at 609-896-5052.
