WE ARE RIDER ATHLETICS

As an integral part of the Rider University experience, we are committed to:

"Whole person" approach—Rider provides each student-athlete with the highest quality educational opportunities and support programs to help you grow as a total person. Rider values competitive athletic and academic experiences that build self-esteem, a sense of responsibility, effective communication skills and an appreciation for life-long learning.

Integrity—Integrity shall characterize every aspect of policy, performance and programs at Rider. All participants in Rider athletics shall exemplify integrity whether they are student athletes, coaches, fans, administrators, or support staff of the athletics department.

Respect for the individual—Rider reinforces and enhances a climate of mutual respect as outlined in the Code of Conduct for student-athletes and the Department of Athletics mission statement. Rider values the contributions of individuals throughout the organization and encourages open communication.

Rider University holds membership in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Rider's field hockey team competes in the Northeast Conference (NEC) while Rider's wrestling team competes in the Mid-American Conference (MAC).

The Rider athletics department sponsors NCAA Division I varsity intercollegiate programs in the following sports:
