What You Need To Know
- The Broncs enter the MAAC Championships with the men's team finishing the dual meet season at 4-4, going 2-1 in head-to-head competition against conference foes and the women's team finishing the year 2-7 overall and 2-3 against conference opponents.
-Â The Bronc men were picked to finish sixth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches Poll.
- Rider returns both diving major award winners from a season ago.
Stavros Xantheas (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) won the 3-meter and was second on the 1-meter to earn MAAC Diver of the Meet honors at the MAAC Championship.
Steven Figueroa (Whittier, CA/La Serna) claimed second on the 3-meter and fourth on the 1-meter, earning MAAC Rookie Diver of the Meet honors. Xantheas ranks second in the MAAC and Figueroa fifth on the 3-meter this season and second and sixth in the conference on the 1-meter.
- In the 50-free,
Cesar Alvarez (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/The Ashton School) ranks seventh and
Billy Ruddy (Newton, NJ/Kittatinny Regional) eighth in the MAAC.
James Bugianesi (Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan) and
Dawid Turos (Riverwoods, IL/Deerfield) are also projected finalists, seeded 11
th and 22
nd.

Ethan Rogowski (Waterford, NY/Shenendehowa) sits fourth and
Luke Mesco (Mullica Hill, NJ/Mother of Divine Grace) ninth in the MAAC in the 500-free.

Filippo Sala (Davie, FL/Nova Southeastern University School) is seeded 13
th with
Chris Green (Swedesboro, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) seeded 21
st in the 1,650-free.
- Ruddy, who set the program record in the 100-breast with a time of 53.61 last season, currently ranks second in the 100-breast in the MAAC this season with
Maxwell Connelly (Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon), who set the program record in the 200-breast with a time of 1:58.14 last year, ranking fifth.
Matthew Borovik (Deerfield, IL/Deerfield) enters the meet ranked 12
th in the event. Connelly also ranks fifth in the MAAC in the 200-breast with Borovik 12
th and Ruddy 18th.

Tivon Benjamin (Palm Bay, FL/St. Anthony's Secondary School), who was fourth in the 100-fly at the MAAC Championships last season and represented his home country of Antigua at the CARIFTA Championships over the summer, currently ranks third in the conference in the 100-fly, with
Sebastian Canosa (Morristown, NJ/Morristown) eighth, Rogowski ninth, and Bugianesi 13th. Benjamin also ranks ninth in the 200-fly with Mesco seeded 11

- The Rider women were picked to finish ninth in the preseason coaches poll.

Donja Tripp (Bethlehem, PA/Notre Dame) currently ranks third in the MAAC in the 50-free this season.
Sonya Mishakova (Bali, Indonesia/Australian Independent School Bali) also projects as a finalist, seeded 19

Casey McLaughlin (Ramsey, NJ/Ramsey) is the Broncs' top returner in the pool after finishing ninth in the 1,650-free at the MAAC Championships last season. She is seeded 11
th in the event this season with
Megan Smith (Philadelphia, PA/Nazareth Academy) seeded 17
th.
- Based on seed times,
Lea Opdyke (Ocala, FL/West Port) and
Megan Smith project as C-Finalists in the 500-free, seeded 19
th and 24
th in the event.
- Opdyke and Mishakova are also projected finalists in the 200-free, seeded 15
th and 22
nd.
- In the 100-fly,
Rachel Hutchins (Elkridge, MD/Annapolis Area Christian School) is seeded 14
th.

Liv Turner-Havira (Archbald, PA/Scranton Prep) and Chole Cheevers (Moorpark, PA/Moorpark) enter the meet 19

th on the 3-meter this season.
Adriana Raymond (Southington, CT/St. Paul Catholic) enters the Championships 19
th on the 1-meter and 15
th on the 3-meter.
- Freshman
Campbell Dopler (Bettendorf, IA/Bettendorf) is currently 11
th in the conference this season on the 1-meter and eighth on the 3-meter.
- The Broncs' relay teams seed seventh in the 200-medley relay, ninth in the 800-free relay, eighth in the 200-free relay, eighth in the 400-medley relay, and seventh in the 400-free relay.
