EDISON, NJ – The MAAC announced its selections for swimming and diving weekly awards and Rider's Billy Ruddy was chosen as MAAC Swimmer of the Week.
 
Ruddy won two individual events and was a part of two winning relays in Rider's dual meet against Lehigh. In the 50-free, Ruddy swam 20.97 for the win, the second-fastest time in the MAAC this season. He then won the 100-free in 46.87, the fourth-fastest time in the conference this year. He swam the anchor leg for the 200-medley relay that won in 1:32.98 and the 400-free relay that swam 3:07.68, both third best in the MAAC this season.
 
The Broncs return to action Saturday when they host Marist at 1 p.m.
