ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Rider University men's swimming and diving team finished eighth at the ECAC Championships. The Broncs compiled 180 points, while the US Naval Academy won with 814.5 points.
 
David Cooper (Conroe, TX/Klein Oak) swam 1:58.92 in the 200-breast to place second.
 
Jack Ruggieri (Bellmawr, NJ/Gloucester Catholic), Christian Overton (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley), Bobby Irwin (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East), and Matt Lequang (Plainsboro, NJ/Notre Dame) combined for a 5^th place swim of 3:02.79 in the 400-free relay.
 
NOTES AND QUOTES
- Derek Fantano was 10^th in the 200-back B-Final.
- Ethan Rogowski (Waterford, NY/Shenendehowa) took 14^th in the B-Final of the 200-fly.
