BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Northeast Conference announced the 2022 Fall Academic Honor Roll Tuesday. 18 student-athletes from Rider were honored, led by
Kaitlyn Tomas, who was named the Co-NEC Field Hockey Scholar-Athlete.
Tomas racked up NEC Defensive Player of the Year and NEC Goalie of the Year honors, guiding the Broncs to the NEC Championship. Entering the NCAA Tournament, Tomas ranked in the top ten nationally in both goals against average and save percentage. Just as solid in the classroom, Tomas maintained a 3.659 cumulative GPA through her senior year.
To be eligible for the NEC Fall Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
