- Rider's roster features players from four different countries, Germany, South Africa, Spain, and the United States.
- Friday's game will be the first-ever meeting between the Chargers and the Broncs. The Chargers have struggled in their transition to Division I, being outscored 59-2 on the season. Jalia Cooper and Erin Smith are responsible for the New Haven offense this season.
