BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The NEC announced its selections for weekly field hockey awards and Rider University's
Jade Regnart was honored for their play on the field over the past seven days, being named NEC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Regnart recorded her sixth career shutout in Rider's 4-0 win over New Haven Friday. Sunday against Sacred Heart, Regnart stood on her head, making a career-high 14 saves, allowing just a penalty stroke goal, and fighting off three corners in the final minute of the game to secure the 2-1 win.
The Broncs are back in action Friday at Mercyhurst. Game time is 1 p.m.
