ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Rider University men's swimming and diving team is third after one day at the ECAC Championships. The US Naval Academy leads the way with 242 points, Columbia is second at 135 points, and the Broncs have 130 points.
Kyle Iorizzo (Norwood, NJ/Old Tappan Regional) had a strong swim in the 500-free, taking second in 4:26.78.
In the 200-IM,
David Rucci (Sewell, NJ/Gateway Regional) was third with a time of 1:50.74.
Lucas Racevicius (Watertown, CT/Holy Cross) was second in the 50-free with a time of 20.26.
The team of Rucci,
David Cooper (Spring, TX/Klein Oak),
Jack Ruggieri (Bellmawr, NJ/Gloucester Catholic), and Racevicius closed out the day with a fourth-place swim in the 400-medley relay, stopping the clock at 3:20.11.
