LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University Wrestling Head Coach
John Hangey has announced his team's schedule for the 2021 season. The Broncs will open the year this Saturday at Binghamton and are scheduled to host Drexel on Feb. 11. Rider is also slated to serve as host of the 2021 Mid-American Conference Wrestling Championships at CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton on Feb. 26 and 27.
Following the opening dual at Binghamton on Saturday, Jan. 9, consecutive MAC Dual dates follow on Jan. 16 and 24. The Broncs will travel to Clarion to face the Golden Eagles and Ohio on Saturday, Jan. 16, before traveling to Buffalo to take on the Bulls and George Mason on Sunday, Jan. 24.
Next on the docket is a road match at perennially-powerful Lehigh on Sunday, Feb. 7. The Broncs will get one final tune-up prior to MAC Championships on Thursday, Feb. 11, when they host Drexel. MAC Championships are scheduled for Friday, Feb. 26 and Saturday, Feb. 27 at CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton. NCAA Championships will follow on March 18-20 at Enterprise Center in St. Louis, MO.
