LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Rider University wrestling team has unveiled its 2026-27 competition schedule, featuring nine home dates in Lawrenceville. Highlighting the campaign are matches against Michigan on November 20 and Indiana on December 20, with the Broncs hosting the Wolverines and Hoosiers at Canastra Hammer Arena.

With nine opportunities to compete in front of our home crowd, five Power 4 duals, and a return to Las Vegas for the prestigious Cliff Keen Invitational, this schedule will challenge our team throughout the season and prepare us for competition at the National Tournament. The season opens on Sunday, November 1 as the Broncs head up Route One to compete at the Princeton Open before hosting the Michigan Wolverines in Lawrenceville on Friday, November 20.

Rider then heads to Las Vegas to compete at the Cliff Keen Invitational from December 4-5 before heading to East Lansing, Michigan to wrestle against Michigan State and The Citadel on December 12. The Broncs close out 2026 at home, facing off against Indiana on Sunday, December 20 at Canastra Hammer Arena.

Wrestling starts 2027 on the road in Norman, Oklahoma, facing off against Oklahoma before conference play in the Mid-America Conference begins with a home match against Ohio on Friday, January 15 in Lawrenceville. Conference play continues on the road for the next three matches as the Broncs travel to SIUE on Saturday, January 16, Edinboro on Thursday, January 21, and Kent State on Friday, January 22. Rider wrestles against Princeton on Saturday, January 30 before hosting George Mason and Davidson on Sunday, January 31.

The Broncs start February on the road for a conference weekend at Lock Haven on Thursday, February 4 before heading to Bloomsburg on Saturday, February 6. Rider ends the 2026-27 season at home, wrestling against Clarion on Friday, February 12 and Drexel on Saturday, February 13 before hosting Penn for their final match of the year at Canastra Hammer Arena on Friday, February 19.

The Mid-America Conference Championships will take place on Friday, March 5 and Saturday, March 6 in Evansville, Illinois. The NCAA Championships will take place from March 18 to March 20 in St. Louis, Missouri.
