Senior
Justin Carey (Landenberg, PA/Avon Grove) was named the MAAC Men's Swimmer of the Week and junior
Dillon Walles (The Woodlands, TX/The Woodlands High School) was honored as MAAC Men's Diver of the Week.
Â
Both student-athletes earned their respective awards for the fourth time this season. Carey picked up weekly accolades for the 10th time in his career, while Walles garnered weekly distinction for the ninth time.

Justin Carey had another big day in the pool for the Broncs last week in a dual-meet win over Marist. Carey set four pool records and won four events against the Red Foxes. He set a new pool record in the 50 back (22.57) as part of the 200 medley relay that won. He also finished first overall and set new pool records in the 100 back (48.80), 100 free (45.63) and the 100 fly (48.53). He currently has the top time in the MAAC in the 100 free, 50 back, 100 back and the 100 fly.
Â
"Justin is getting faster every week and continues to achieve impressive results," Rider Head Coach
Steve Fletcher said. "This has got to be the first time in our program history that a single athlete set Pool records in every event in which he competed, having competed in the maximum allowable number of events in a dual meet."
Â
Dillon Walles continued his impressive start to the season last weekend for the Broncs. In a dual-meet win over Marist, Walles won both the 1M and the 3M diving events. It marked the fourth meet in a row in which he won both events. He posted a score of 300.37 in the 1M and he also had a mark of 296.93 in the 3M.
Â
Rider returns to action on Saturday, November 9, with a tri-meet against La Salle and Delaware that in Philadelphia.
