PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rider University men's swimming and diving team opened competition at the 2018 ECAC Championships on Friday. The three-day event is hosted by Rutgers and takes place at the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center.

Junior diver Joseph Warker (Reading, PA/Wilson) was the highlight of Friday evening for the Broncs as he finished in third-place to earn a bronze medal in the 1M diving event. Warker posted a score of 268.40 in the preliminaries and followed that up with a mark of 273.55 in the finals.  

The 2018 ECAC Men's & Women's Open Swimming and Diving Championships continue tomorrow, beginning with the Women's 200-Yard Medley Relay at 10 a.m.
