LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL – Louie Giovacchini (Windermere, FL/Windermere) shot two-over 74 and the Rider University shot 301 (+13) Friday at the MAAC Golf Championship Second Round at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course. The Broncs (584, +8) sit sixth as a team and Giovacchini (143, -1) sits ninth individually heading into Saturday's third and final round.

Giovacchini's second round featured 12 par's, two birdies and four bogey's. Jacob Delaney (Stockton, CA/Saint Mary's) and Joey Lostumbo (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central) were a stroke back of Giovacchini at 75 (+3) Friday, while the Broncs also counted Zachary Fisher's (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central) 77 (+5). Andrew Bilson (Lititz, PA/Manheim Township) also competed, carding an 83 (+11).

NOTES
- Iona shot even-par 288 Friday to surge to the top of the team leaderboard. Sacred Heart and Fairfield (575, -1) are tied for second, while Mount St. Mary's (577, +1) and Manhattan (583, +7) sit above the Broncs (584, +8) on the leaderboard. Merrimack (585, +9), Canisius (598, +22), Niagara (600, +24), Siena (605, +29) and Saint Peter's (615, +39) follow.
- Tadgh Burke (Fairfield) maintained his lead on the individual leaderboard, shooting 69 (-3) Friday to extend to eight under (136) for the tournament.
- Giovacchini sits ninth individually at 143 (-1), while Fisher is 16^th at 146 (+2).
- Fisher eagled the Par 5, 527-yard 10^th hole.
- Bilson, Giovacchini and Delaney had two birdies each.
- Lostumbo carded one birdie Friday.
- As a team, the Broncs continue to pace the field, averaging 4.12 (+12) on the Par 4's.
- Delaney remains tied for the top mark on the Par 3's at -2 (2.75).
