CLEVELAND, OH – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced its weekly awards on Tuesday afternoon, with Isaac Dean (Medford, NJ/Shawnee) from the Rider wrestling team earning recognition as the MAC East Division Wrestler of the Week.

The Broncs' 184-pounder opened up the dual meet season against against No. 22 ranked Ian Bush of #18 West Virginia. 1-1 was the score with seconds to go in the match. Dean was able to get the match-winning takedown over Bush in the final seconds to secure the 4-2 upset victory. Dean now moves to 4-1 on the young season. 

After his stellar performance, Dean now joins the FloWrestling rankings, coming in at No. 33. 

The Broncs are next in action on Nov. 22 to take on the Huskies of Northern Illinois and then on Nov. 24 to go up against Wisconsin.
