- Rider is in its first season under new Head Coach
Jeff Rotondo. In April of 2019, Rotondo became the ninth coach in program history. He came to Lawrenceville after a highly successful run as the Head Coach of Division II Holy Family. Rotondo earned his first career win at the helm of the program on September 7th versus Norfolk State.

- Rider was picked to finish sixth in the MAAC Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll for the second straight season. The Broncs also saw senior
Rachelle Runyon named to the Preseason All-MAAC Team as a libero.

- Freshman
Morgan Romano has made an immediate impact with the team this fall. She has been named the MAAC Rookie of the Week a conference-best three times already in 2019.

- Romano leads the MAAC in total kills (172), kills per set (4.20), total points (193.5) and points per set (4.72). She has also registered a team-best four double-doubles this autumn.

- As a team, Rider leads the MAAC in total service aces (74) and service aces per set (1.80). In their last match against Hampton, the Broncs had a season-best 16 service aces. It was their second match this year with 12 or more aces.

Rachelle Runyon has been named the MAAC Libero of the Week in back-to-back weeks. Runyon leads the MAAC in total digs (199) and she ranks second in the conference in digs per set (4.85). Runyon ranks ninth in program history with 1,239 career digs. She is 20 digs away from taking sole possession of eighth-place.

- Sophomore setter
Anilee Sher ranks second in the MAAC in total assists (285) and she is also second in the league in assists per set (9.50). Sher leads the conference in both total service aces (21) and aces per set (0.70).

- Iona leads the all-time series with Rider, 28-12. However, the Broncs have had the edge of late. Dating back to the start of the 2016 season, the Broncs have won five of the last six meetings against the Gaels.
