The finished seventh in tough conditions on Sunday

PRINCETON, NJ – The Rider University men's track and field team closed out action at the 2019 ECAC Outdoor Championships on Sunday afternoon.

The Broncs saw one relay earn All-East honors.

"We had some great results in difficult conditions today," Rider Head Coach Bob Hamer said. "Those who put out great effort were definitely rewarded."

The Rider 4x400 garnered All-East honors thanks to finishing seventh overall. The Bronc quartet of James Green (Timonium, MD/Dulaney), Russell Malko (Whitehouse Station, NJ/Hunterdon Central), Noah Rivera (Randolph, NJ/Newton) and Jerome Boyer (Edison, NJ/Edison) crossed the finish line at 3:21.77.

"The men's 4x400 has been a signature event for us this year and it was nice to see those guys rewarded with an all-east," Hamer added. "It was not a great time for us, but a decent result."
