Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Tabbed MAAC Preseason Favorites

EDISON, NJ – The Rider men's and women's indoor track and field programs have both been selected to finish first in the 2025 MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, the league office announced this morning.

For the fourth straight year, the Rider men topped the poll with 100 points, earning all 10 first-place votes. The Broncs enter the season coming off their third straight MAAC Indoor Crown, adding to a run that now includes four titles in program history.

Iona, last season's runner-up, followed with 88 points, while Mount St. Mary's (71), Manhattan (66), and Marist (60) completed the top five on the men's side.

On the women's side, Rider collected 119 points and nine of the 11 first-place votes. The Broncs are coming off their third consecutive MAAC Indoor Championship, a victory that marked their fourth title in the last five years and the fifth in program history.

Quinnipiac earned the remaining two first-place votes and finished second with 111 points. Sacred Heart (99), Mount St. Mary's (81), and Iona (76) rounded out the women's top five.

The Broncs open their indoor season on Dec. 6 at the Penn Opener in Philadelphia.

The 2026 MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championships are a two-day meet that will be held on February 21-22, 2026 at the Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory in New York, NY for the 22nd consecutive season dating back to 2004. For all information regarding the 2026 MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships please visit maacsports.com/indoortrack.
