What You Need to Know
- The Rider University men's and women's indoor track & field teams open their 2025–26 season on Saturday at the Penn Opener, hosted at the Ott Center.
 
Men's Team Outlook
- Rider was unanimously selected first in the MAAC Preseason Coaches Poll for the fourth straight year, earning all 10 first-place votes for 100 points.
- The Broncs enter the year coming off their third straight MAAC Indoor Championship, adding to a program total of four titles.
- Several key performers return from last season's championship squad:
    Tamrat Snyder — reigning MAAC champion in the 800m.
    Nathan Storz — placed third in the 60m hurdles at last year's indoor championships.
    Steven Bado — last season's MAAC runner-up in the 200m.
- Rider also brings in a large and talented group of newcomers, welcoming 21 freshmen expected to contribute early in the season.
 
Women's Team Outlook
- On the women's side, Rider earned 119 points and nine of 11 first-place votes in the preseason conference poll.
- The Broncs return after capturing their third straight MAAC Indoor Championship—four titles in the past five years and five overall.
- Rider brings back several standout athletes from last season's championship run:
    Dylan Giloley, last year's MAAC Track Rookie of the Meet.
    Taylor Johnson, who placed third in the 60m at the MAAC Indoor Championships.
    Three members of last year's 4x400 relay runner-up—Amari Pinkett, Tamara Rawles, and Morgan Jean.
    Two returners from the third-place 4x800 squad—Tatiana Nunez and Alexa Eglin.
- The Broncs also add 14 freshmen, giving the roster strong depth and new talent heading into the opener.
