NOTES & QUOTES
"We had two great relay performances today in the men's and women's 4x1500 relays. It is always a focal event for us when we come to this meet and the teams always want to set the record."
– Rider Head Coach Bob Hamer
"The men ran very well today. Long ran a really nice second leg to put us in great position for the final two legs. Kevin really stepped up on his leg. That was a PR for him and he really gritted it out."
– Hamer
"We had a successful weekend down here in Virginia and now we turn our attention to the Rider Invite."
– Hamer
"We had lots of great stuff today in Princeton! The men overall had a really great day with some incredible efforts. We really delivered a complete team performed today. As a coach it was a lot of fun watching our team compete today."
– Rider Associate Head Coach Brett Harvey
"A big highlight today was
Matt Kraemer breaking the rider record in the hammer throw. Matt has chased this record for two years and he really deserved it. He is a guy that has worked his butt off for this program for three years and he is earned this record."
– Harvey
"The 400m Group has been on a different level all year and today was a continuation of it. They are really running outstanding. Russell is getting closer and closer to that big breakthrough in the 400m and he's got some talented freshman following him towards those big goals. I was also really happy for Smallwood. He's worked really hard and had a big breakthrough today."
– Harvey
- Rider returns to action competing in the Bison Outdoor Classic on April 13-14 and the team is also hosting the Rider Invite on April 13 on campus.
