LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Rider University men's track and field team competed at two separate meets on Friday. The Broncs saw members of the squad compete at both the Penn State National Open and the John Thomas Terrier Classic hosted by Boston University.
The men got one IC4A-qualifying mark between the two meets.
In Boston, the lone men's event that Rider had student-athletes perform in was the distance medley relay. The Bronc quartet of junior
Tom Long (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson), freshman
Noah Rivera (Randolph, NJ/Newton), freshman
Kevin Heredia (Clifton, NJ/Clifton) and graduate student
Danniel Belay (Gaithersburg, MD/Gaithersburg) finished in fourth-place with an IC4A-qualifying time of 10:03.38.
At Penn State, freshman
Devynn Lee (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Memorial) competed in the triple jump. He qualified for Saturday's finals with a personal-best leap of 14.24m.
