STATEN ISLAND, NY – The Rider University men's track and field team competed at the Gotham Cup on Friday. The one-day event took place at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
The Broncs got a handful of noteworthy performances in the Empire State.
In the 60m hurdles, senior
Nate Bowie (Matawan, NJ/Matawan) finished fifth overall with a time of 8.54.
Junior
Isaiah Jean-Baptiste (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill HS East) landed in seventh-place in the one-mile run, crossing the finish line at 4:26.38.
In the shot put, senior
Marcell Brown (Montclair, NJ/Montclair) ended up in fourth with a mark of 14.94m.
