LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – All six players in the Broncs' singles line-up won in straight sets as the Rider University men's tennis team swept Salem International, 7-0. With the win, the Broncs improve to 2-9, while the Tigers slip to 3-9. 
“Both teams played extremely well today,” said Rider Head Coach 
Doug Potkay. “Energy was high today and we played very consistently.”
 
Rider took the doubles point with wins at Nos. 2 and 3. 
Brandon Gildea (Manahawkin, NJ/Southern Regional) and 
Griffin Clark (Lititz, PA/Manheim Township) defeated Kevin Musasia and Nicolas Martinez, 6-4, at No. 2 to clinch the point after 
Chris Popso (Florence, NJ/Florence) and 
Matthew Begley (Pennington, NJ/Hopewell Valley Central) cruised past Eugene Bour and Nicholas Milush, 6-0, at No. 3. The Tigers lone win on the day came at No. 1 singles, as Landon Schultz-Zwahr and Christian Manalang defeated 
Adam Levi (Princeton Junction, NJ/Pennington School) and 
Jeremy Van Herwarde (Sussex, NJ/Pope John XXIII), 6-3, at top doubles. 
 
Popso, Clark, Gildea and Begley all picked up double wins with victories at Nos. 1, 3, 5 and 6 singles, while Levi and Van Herwarde got into the win column at Nos. 2 and 4. 
The Broncs return to action Thursday, when they travel to Marist. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
