Rider Adds Tumbelty of Rancocas Valley
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ—Andrew Tumbelty of Westampton, a recent graduate of Rancocas Valley High School, will be a member of the 2015 Rider University baseball team, Rider head coach Barry Davis announced.
“Andrew will add to our depth in our infield,” Davis said. “He has had a solid high school career and we feel fortunate to get him here.”
A three-year starter at Rancocas Valley, Tumbelty earned First Team All-Conference, First Team All-Burlington County and Second Team All-South Jersey honors, batting .460 with 35 hits, 23 runs batted in and 22 runs scored.
“We need to improve and Andrew will get the same opportunity as everyone else as this will be a very competitive fall,” Davis said.
