GREENSBORO, NC – Following his selection to the ABCA First Team All-Region,
Joe Tiroly of the Rider baseball team has been named to the ABCA/Rawlings Third Team All-America as a second baseman, the organization announced Friday morning. Tiroly becomes the first Bronc to earn All-America honors since Danny Kirwin in 2023, who was also a Third Team selection.
The national recognition adds to what was already a historic season for Tiroly, who was named the 2025 MAAC Player of the Year. The sophomore was the only unanimous First Team All-MAAC selection and started all 52 games for the Broncs. He led the team in nearly every major offensive category, finishing the season with a .377 batting average, 75 hits, 70 RBIs, 18 home runs, 66 runs scored, and 16 doubles.
Tiroly's 70 RBIs and 66 runs scored each set new single-season program records, while his .749 slugging percentage and .481 on-base percentage solidified his status as one of the premier players in the country.
