EDISON, NJ – Michael Palmer and
Tamrat Snyder swept the MAAC Outdoor Track and Field weekly awards, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Tamrat Snyder finished 5th at the Sam Howell Invitational in 1:50.56. It is the No. 1 time in the MAAC by over 3 seconds and an IC4A qualifier.
Michael Palmer was awarded Field Performer of the Week after winning the high jump at the Sam Howell Invitational clearing 2.10m. It is the No. 3 mark all time at Rider, IC4A qualifier, and a possible NCAA qualifying mark. It is the No. 1 mark in the MAAC and currently tied for the No. 19 mark in the NCAA East.
The Broncs return to action on Apr. 10 to compete at the Duke Invitational.
