JACKSONVILLE, FL —  Michael Palmer capped off an impressive junior season at the NCAA East Preliminary Championship on Friday afternoon at Jax Track at Hodges Stadium.

Palmer opened the meet with a mark of 2.05m, but an injury prevented him from clearing the bar in his final attempts, bringing a strong season to a close.

"Michael had a great first clearance and then unfortunately rolled his ankle a bit on the first attempt at the next height. He did a great job of rallying for the next two attempts but was unable to clear the bar. 

He's had a great year and we are really proud of how far he has come.
