- Wednesday's game will be broadcast live on BroncVision.
- The Broncs are 2-2 on the season, coming off a win last time out at Rhode Island. Anna Devlin (Marmora, NJ/Ocean City[TCNJ]) led the Broncs with four goals in the contest, including the goal that broke an 11-11 tie and put Rider on top for good in the 13-12 victory.
- The Broncs were picked to finish eighth this season in the MAAC Preseason Coaches Poll.
- Katie Walsh (Marlton, NJ/Camden Catholic[FDU-Florham]) was named to the pre-season All-MAAC Team after earning Second-Team All-MAAC honors a season ago. She is currently fourth in the MAAC at 2.75 goals per game, third in the MAAC at 5.75 draw controls per game, and earned MAAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after scoring six goals and adding two assists, three draw controls, and two ground balls in the season-opening win against FDU.
- Selena Carrington (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North[Rutgers]), is second on the team and sixth in the MAAC this season at 2.50 goals per game. She scored a hat trick in the season opener, then followed that with a five-goal performance at Temple.
- Elizabeth Shean (Seal Beach, CA/Los Alamitos) is fourth on the Broncs with seven goals and has a team-high four assists on the season. During the past week, she recorded her first career hat trick against Bucknell, then added two goals against Rhode Island with an assist in both games to earn MAAC Rookie of the Week honors.
- In addition to her 10 goals this season, Devlin leads the Broncs and is second in the MAAC at 6.25 draw controls per game.
- Devlin, Emma Barborak (Lakeville, MN/Gentry Academy), and Kayla Vazquez (Bayport, NY/Bayport-Blue Point) all currently have four caused turnovers this season to lead the Broncs.
- In goal, Jamie Kubach (Philadelphia, PA/William Penn Charter[FDU-Florham]) and Avery May (Auroa, CO/Grandview) have split time last year with Kubach getting all four starts so far this season. Kubach has posted an 11.51 goals against average with a .440 save percentage in 146 minutes with May posting a 9.57 goals against average and a .464 save percentage. Both goalies have 1-1 records in net on the year.
- The Broncs currently lead the MAAC and rank 16th nationally at 15.75 draw controls per game. Rider also leads the MAAC and is 22nd in the country, winning 60.0% of draws taken this season.
- Rider's roster features players from 12 different states, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
- Evan Mager is in his second season as the coach for the Broncs, following three seasons at FDU-Florham where he compiled a 34-7 record, including a 16-0 record entering the NCAA Division III Tournament in his second season in 2021. After that season he was named MAC Freedom and IWLCA Boardwalk Region Coach of the Year.
- The Broncs and Gaels met in a conference tilt last season with the Gaels coming away with a 14-11 win. Walsh had four goals and Devlin had a goal and four assists for the Broncs in that game.
- The Gaels are off to an 0-2 start to the season, falling to a pair of Patriot League opponents in Holy Cross and Boston University. Lindsey Grove leads the Gaels with two goals and four points. Kira Varada leads Iona with seven caused turnovers and six ground balls.
