Enhanced Concessions To Be Offered at 2025-26 Men's Basketball Games

107.7 The Bronc's "The Hype" returns for second year

Rider Athletics is once again enhancing the game day experience for fans at home men's basketball games during the 2025-26 season beginning with the game on Saturday, November 15 at 7pm.

The "Broncs Fan Zone", located in the Student Recreation Center Atrium adjacent to Alumni Gym, will include enhanced concessions, a live pregame radio show with special guests hosted by 107.7 The Bronc and alcohol sales at select games. This "Broncs Fan Zone" is designed to enrich the fan experience while continuously ensuring a safe and family-friendly environment.

Alcohol sales will include beer and seltzers which will be sold at a separate point of sale and area in the Broncs Fan Zone, distinct from the regular concession stand. Fans must be 21 years of age or older, will be required to show an ID and will be given a wristband upon purchase. There will be a limit of one alcoholic beverage per person with ID each purchase.

Alcohol sales will begin 90 minutes prior to tipoff at select men's basketball games and end with 10 minutes left on the game clock in the second half.

Currently, alcohol will be sold at the following men's basketball games:

- Saturday, November 15 (vs. Eastern University at 7pm); and
- Wednesday, January 14 (vs. Iona at 7pm).

Alcohol will also be sold at the wrestling meet vs. Rutgers on Saturday, January 31 at 7pm.

Additional dates of events including alcohol sales may be added in January and February.

"We've collaborated with Auxiliary Services and Public Safety once again to be able to include alcohol sales at some of our men's basketball and wrestling events this season," said Director of Athletics Don Harnum. "We want to continue to grow our fan base while enhancing the overall experience in the Broncs' Zoo.  Hopefully people will come early and enjoy themselves as they support the Broncs."

For the second consecutive year, Rider's radio station 107.7 The Bronc will broadcast a pregame show called "The Hype" live from the Student Recreation Center Atrium starting one hour prior to tip. "The Hype", hosted by Rider students CJ Jackson and Dante Walker, will start at the top of the hour and air for about 45 minutes before the show transfers courtside for the game broadcast.

"The Hype" will feature a look at the upcoming game and feature special guests discussing the keys to the game.  Listen to Rider basketball and "The Hype" on 107.7 The Bronc Retro WRRC2 or via www.1077TheBronc.com, via the app on Apple and Apple CarPlay, Google Play and Android Auto, Alexa, Audacy, and MyTuner.
