WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Teagan Schein-Becker is just the second woman in program history to reach the NCAA Championships, joining Emily Ritter, who finished ninth in the steeplechase in 2015.

Schein-Becker continued her impressive season winning the 1500m and the 800m, while also helping the 4x800m relay team win gold at the 2024 MAAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on her way to being named the MAAC Track Most Outstanding Performer for the second consecutive year.
Schein-Becker will compete in the second of two heats in the semifinals. The 1500m heats will begin at 8:46 p.m. (5:46 Pacific) Thursday and the top five from each heat plus the next two fastest times will advance to the finals on Saturday at 5:41 p.m. (2:41 Pacific).
Schein-Becker owns the fifth-fastest time in her heat and 10^th-fastest time in the field this season with her run of 4:08.87 at the NCAA East Preliminary Championships.

Both Rider Men's and Women's Track and Field won the 2023-24 MAAC Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
