Quotes and Notes
"We had a really nice day today in the field events. Sammy kicked things off with a big win in the long jump with a mark of 6.01 meters. Hopefully, this big jump will give her some confidence moving forward. This was a big step in the right direction.
It was a big day for the women in the weight throw. Maria got the win with a new PR and a number-eight mark all-time in 48.47 meters. She has been coming along the last few weeks, so it was nice to see her put up a big mark. There is more in there."
