Men’s Cross Country Finishes as MAAC Runner-Up Behind Strong Team Effort

MONTGOMERY, NY – Rider men's cross country team's second-place finish at the MAAC Championships was a true team effort, highlighted by standout performances across the board. Tamrat Snyder followed with a solid 13th-place finish, crossing the line at 24:37.3 to give the team another critical boost in points.

Adding to Rider's success, Dominik Lisicky delivered a strong performance, finishing in 21st place with a time of 25:04.8. His effort was matched closely by Jesse Campoverde, who came in right behind Lisicky, securing 22nd place with a time of 25:10.4. Their combined efforts kept the Broncs competitive against the top teams in the conference.

Quotes and Notes
"It was a great day for the men. This is the highest finish ever for the men. They did a great job of executing the race plan. We had been focusing all year on a strong second half of the race and today all that work came together. I'm very excited and proud of the men. They really turned things around over the last month to earn this result.

Noah was outstanding today. He has come such a long way. He has a done a great job of working on the last segment of his race.

Tam was great today. He has been working so hard to get back to this spot and it was so fun to see him have a great result. Two days ago he was in the ER thinking he had appendicitis to finishing 13th in the MAAC. It was a great testament to his resolve.

I'm really proud of Nathan. He has not had the career that he has wanted up to this point but he has not given up, he keeps showing up, and trying to be who he wants and today was the realization of all of that effort." – Rider Director of Cross Country, Track & Field Bob Hamer
