LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Rider men's and women's cross country teams begin their 2025 season on Friday, August 29, at the Temple Owls Cross Country Invitational in Ambler, PA. The women's race is slated for 5 p.m., followed by the men at 5:30 p.m.
Men
"The men are excited to start the season on Friday. We had a very successful MAAC Championship last year and the goal is to continue that success this year with almost an entirely different lineup. We have a young and talented team and I am looking forward to watching them grow this season."

- Rider was picked third in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- The Broncs are coming off a program-best runner-up finish at the 2024 MAAC Championships.
- Leading the returners is
Dominik Lisicky, the lone Bronc to place inside the top 25 at last year's championship.
- Lisicky is joined by
Jared Voorhees,
Matthew Mastroly, and
Santino D'Amelio, who were also among Rider's top performers in the MAAC Championships a season ago.
- The roster is bolstered by seven freshmen —
Ty Blackman,
Quinn Cataldi,
Frankie DiSilvestro,
Christopher Gray,
Melvin Lewis,
Brandon Lyons, and
Ethan Peffley — who look to make an immediate impact this fall.
Women
"The women are very excited to kick off the season on Friday. We have a talented group of women that are on the rise and in a great position to enjoy a lot of success this year. We are hoping to build off a strong MAAC result last year and take the program to new heights this fall."
