LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University men's track & field student-athletes Artie Burgess (Coatesville, PA/Coatesville) and Devynn Lee (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Memorial) have been chosen as MAAC Track and Field Performer of Week, respectively, the league office today announced.

Burgess won the 300m at the Rutgers Holiday Classic in 34.05, setting a new Rider Record. The previous record had stood for 16 years.

Lee won the high jump at the Rutgers Holiday Classic, clearing 2.04m. It is an IC4A qualifying mark.

The Broncs return to action following the holidays on Jan. 12, when they take part in the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartan Invite at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island.
