- After scoring the only goal in the regular season matchup, Chloe Fisher (Warrington, England/Cronton Sixth Form College) once again delivered a game-winning goal as sixth-seeded Rider University Women's Soccer upset the #3 seed Canisius, 1-0, in the MAAC Quarterfinals.
- It's Rider's first semifinal appearance since April of 2021.
- Sciancalepore made four saves in the shutout. It is her 5th shutout of the year and 15th of her career which is 2nd all-time in Broncs history.

History vs Quinnipiac
- Rider and Quinnipiac are tied in the all-time series at a 5-5-2 mark. However, Quinnipiac has won each of the last three matchups vs. the Broncs.Â
- Earlier this year, Rider fell to reigning MAAC Champion Quinnipiac, 1-0. Through the first half, both sides were even playing to a draw and had identical numbers through the first 45', as shots and saves were the same for both sides. However, early in the second half, the Bobcats were able to strike as Courtney Chochol found the back of the net on a cross from Evelyn Keay in the match's 46th minute.
- Last year, Quinnipiac won by the largest margin of victory in the all-time series, taking down Rider, 5-0, in Hamden.

- Bobcats Head Coach Dave Clarke won the MAAC Coach of the Year award, finishing the regular season with a record of 9-0-1, earning the program's second straight regular season title (first outright). Â
-Â Senior forward Courtney Chochol took home the MAAC Golden Boot, finishing the regular season with 23 points (seven goals and nine assists). Chochol finishes the regular season leading the league in points (23) and assists (9). She's recorded at least one point in 10 of QU's 15 games this season.Â
 - The four-time Defensive Player of the Week, Sofia Lospinoso, earned the MAAC Golden Glove award for the league's top goalkeeper. Lospinoso was tied for second in the MAAC with six shutouts and had a goals-against average of 1.05. She surrendered just six goals over 10 MAAC starts in 2023.Â
 - There was a three-way tie for MAAC Defensive Player of the Year where three Bobcats took home those honors. Graduate students Markela Bejleri, Olivia Scott, and Kayla Mingachos were named as the award winners after helping Quinnipiac to a 9-0-1 conference record.
- Quinnipiac leads the MAAC in scoring average (2.73 GPG) while also ranking second in goals given up with a 1.00 GAA on the season.

- Last year, Rider made it to the MAAC Tournament for the 10th straight year but fell to 5th-seeded Canisius in the opening round by PKs.
- The Broncs sit 4th in fewest goals per game with 1.06 goals allowed per game.
- Chloe Fisher ranks first in the MAAC with four game-winning goals on the year.
- Both Fisher and Hannah Freeman rank top 10 in the MAAC in goals with four on the year.
- Fisher was named to the All-MAAC Third Team reaching the all-conference team for the second time with Rider.

- Sciancalepore has played in all 17 games for the Broncs with a career-best 1.06 GAA, which ranks top five in the MAAC this season leading her to a spot on the All-MAAC 2nd Team. The honor is the second time Sciancalepore would make the All-MAAC teams with her 1st team all-conference selection a year ago.
- Sciancalepore also posted the 4th best save percentage in the conference at .833. -The 2022 MAAC Golden Glove winner put up another top-tier season following her six-shutout campaign a year ago, the Randolph, New Jersey native was a part of five Rider clean sheets in 2023, including a 1-0 shutout over Canisius in the MAAC Quarterfinals.Â
- Sciancalepore has been able to rise up the all-time ranks in her Senior season, now ranking 2nd all-time in shutouts and 3rd all-time in career victories.Â
- Sciancalepore was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week once on the season following her seven-save shutout over Siena.Â

- Senior Midfielder Hannah Freeman (Lowville, NY/Lowville) is tied for the team lead with 4 goals on the campaign, which also ranks top 10 in the MAAC this season.
- Freeman connected on goals in back-to-back matches vs Saint Peter's and Manhattan.
- Freeman's four-goal campaign is the most for her career previously scattering 5 goals across three seasons.Â
Continuing Tradition
- Rider women's soccer made the postseason for an 11th straight season. The Broncs are looking for their first MAAC title since 2014.
- Rider Head Coach Drayson Hounsome returns for his 16th season, having compiled over 115 wins at Rider entering the season.
