VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Sierra Giuliano of the Rider University field hockey team will represent the Broncs at the 2022 Senior Nexus Championship (NXC), presented by Osaka Hockey, which will be held at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va. from July 17 to 22, as announced by USA Field Hockey on Thursday.
 
Giuliano is one of 144 elite high school, collegiate and post-collegiate athletes chosen to participate at the Senior NXC. During the spring and early summer, athletes trialed and trained at one of the seven USA Field Hockey High Performance Centers throughout the country for an opportunity to be selected to the Senior NXC, a step along the Olympic Development Pathway program.
 
Giuliano is a two-time All-NEC performer with the Broncs. Last season, Giuliano anchored the Rider defense, playing every minute in nine of the 12 games she played in. In Rider's 2-1 win over Merrimack, she assisted on the game-winning goal.
