Teagan Schein-Becker (Trappe, PA/Perkiomen Valley) and sophomore
Zach Manorowitz (Pennsville, NJ/Pennsville) have earned selections to the NCAA East Preliminary Championships, May 25-28, in Bloomington, IN, the NCAA today announced.
Schein-Becker will compete in the 1500 meters after first breaking former teammate
Kristin Siegle's program record, before repeatedly shaving time off of her own record. The program-best mark now stands at 4:18.32, set at the Penn Relays. The 1500 is set to take place Thursday, May 26, at 6:30 p.m.
Manorowitz will make his second-straight trip to NCAA Preliminary Championships after qualifying as a freshman last year. His mark of 7.64m in the long jump ranks 35
th in the field. He'll get his chance to compete on Wednesday, May 25, at 6 p.m.
