PRINCETON, NJ – Louie Giovacchini (Windermere, FL/Windermere) shot two-under 69 in the first round and stands tied for 18^th at one-over after two rounds, while the Rider University men's golf team is 11^th of 15 teams following two rounds at the Princeton Invitational Saturday. The Broncs shot 290 in the opening round and 294 in the second to stand +16 on the Par 71 Springdale Golf Club course.

Giovacchini fired a two-under 69 in the opening round before shooting three-over 74 in the second. Rick van der Nat (Noordwijk, The Netherlands/Visser' t Hooft) shot one-over 72 in the first and two-over 73 in the second to stand tied for 34^th at three-over for the tournament. Two shots back of van der Nat at +5 is Austin Devereux (Brielle, NJ/Manasquan), while Connor Bekefi (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) and Jack Urban (Upper St. Clair, PA/Upper St. Clair) are both tied for 57^th at eight over.

- Host Princeton entered a pair of foursomes that finished 1-2 on the day.
- The Tigers' William Huang leads the individual leaderboard by four strokes at seven-under after shooting 67 and 68 in the first two rounds, respectively. Three of his teammates are tied for second at three under.
- The field consists of all eight Ivies, Seton Hall, Temple, Saint Joseph's, Georgetown and Howard.
