BETHLEHEM, PA – Sebastian Pell (Center Rutland, VT/Rutland) shot four-over 76 Saturday to stand 21^st individually to lead the Rider University men's golf team in the opening round of the Lehigh Invitational at Saucon Valley Country Club. The Broncs shot 316 (+28) and stand 12^th of 12 teams following 18 holes of the 36-hole tournament.

Pell's round featured three birdies, while shooting 76 (+4), two strokes ahead of Andrew Bilson (Lititz, PA/Manheim Township)(78, +6, 35^th). Riley Richards (East Montpelier, VT/U-32 [Franklin Pierce]) was next with a 79 (+7, 42^nd), while the Broncs also counted Ryan Jones' (Canton, NY/Canton Central) 83 (+11, 57^th). Zachary Fisher (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central) also competed, shooting an 85 (+13, 63^rd).

NOTES
- Evansville holds the team lead with an opening-round 290 (+2), five strokes ahead of FDU and Lafayette (295, +7).  
- The Broncs are the lone MAAC representative at the tournament.
- FDU's Pietro Maria Piccoli leads the individual leaderboard at two-under 70, a stroke ahead of both Lafayette's Winston Kelenc-Blank and Evansville's Daniil Romashkin, each at 71 (-1).
- Pell, Bilson and Jones led the Broncs with three birdies apiece, while Richards and Jones had two each.
