LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University sophomore sprinter/hurdler Lydia Wallace (Jim Thorpe, PA/Jim Thorpe Area) has been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Women's Track Performer of the week, the league office today announced. Wallace opened the season by winning the 800 meters at the Rutgers Holiday Classic in a time of 2:19.82 on Friday.   

The Broncs return to action in the New Year on Jan. 6, when they compete at the Wagner College Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Park Track & Field Complex on Staten Island.
