EDISON, NJ — Maria Chiariello earned MAAC Field Performer of the Week honors following a standout performance at the Rider Invitational, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

Chiariello captured two event victories and added another top-six finish to lead the Broncs. She won the hammer throw with a personal-best mark of 47.60 meters and followed that with a victory in the discus at 40.36 meters. She also placed sixth in the shot put with a throw of 10.46 meters.

Her performances continue a strong outdoor season, as Chiariello now owns the #2 mark in the MAAC in both the hammer throw and discus this year.
