GENEVA, NY – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced selections for All-Region honors on Tuesday and Rider's Valeria Perales earned Second-Team All-Mid Atlantic Region. The freshman earns the 17^th All-Region honor in program history, and is just the eighth player in program history to earn All-Region honors.
 
Perales put together one of the greatest offensive seasons in program history for the Broncs, scoring 20 goals, one off the Rider program record, and adding nine assists for 49 points, also one off the Rider program record. Perales recorded a point in 18 of 21 games this season, including four multi-goal games. Her 20 goals and .95 goals per game both rank sixth nationally and her 2.33 points per game rank seventh nationally.
 
The Broncs were the NEC Champions for the eighth time and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in program history in 2022.
