- The Rider University women's soccer team closes out the regular season with a Wednesday night contest vs. Siena on 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
- The Broncs clinched their 10
th-straight MAAC Championship berth with a 1-0 win at Marist on Oct. 22.
Lindsey Maslow finished
Ailis Martin's assist in the 64
th minute to give the Broncs the three points necessary to clinch.
- With a win Wednesday night, the Broncs would clinch the No. 4 seed and a MAAC Quarterfinal home game on Sunday at a time to be determined. A tie or loss would send the Broncs to the road as either the No. 5 seed to face fourth-seeded Canisius or the No. 6 seed to face third-seeded Niagara.

Ellie Sciancalepore was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 24 after allowing just one goal in a pair of wins at Mount St. Mary's and Marist. It was the second honor of the year for Sciancalepore and the third of her career. Sciancalepore now has a career-high six shutouts on the year.

Anna Barkey scored her first two goals as a Bronc in Rider's 2-1 win at Mount St. Mary's on Oct. 19.
- Maslow leads the Broncs with five goals and 11 points, while
Makenzie Rodrigues is right behind her with four goals and nine points.

Camryn Dees has added two goals and a team-high three assists for seven points.

Logan Racine have scored twice each.
- For the season, Sciancalepore has posted a 1.38 goals-against average and an .812 saves percentage with six shutouts.
- Perennial MAAC contender Siena has uncharacteristically struggled this season at 2-10-5 (1-5-3 MAAC). However, the Saints pulled out a 2-0 win at Iona last time out.
- Siena leads the all-time series with Rider, 12-10-5. Rider's last win over Siena came in 2016, with the Saints posting a 4-0-1 record in five meetings since. Â
- The Saints have allowed multiple goals in just two MAAC games this season against Quinnipiac (7, Sept. 28) and Fairfield (3, Sept. 17). In the next six games, the Saints allowed just four goals – one each to Marist, Niagara, Mount St. Mary's and Saint Peter's. During the span, the Saints scored just one goal and were 0-3-1 prior to the 2-0 win at Iona on Oct. 22.
- Annie Bagnall is the lone Saint with multiple goals scored this year, contributing five. Six others have contributed one each, including Cora Keohane, whose four assists lead the team.
- Angela Fini has played the majority of minutes in goal for Siena this year, posting a 1.74 goals-against average and a .777 saves percentage. She has three shutouts on the year.
- Following consecutive shutout victories over Saint Peter's and Manhattan, the Broncs fell in four-straight games to Iona, Fairfield, Quinnipiac and Niagara. Â

- Rider opened MAAC play Sept. 17, when it fell by a 2-1 score at Canisius.Â
- The Broncs opened the season with three-straight road wins at Wagner, Villanova and Delaware State a year after going winless away from Ben Cohen Field. Since then, the Broncs have posted an 0-3-2 record, with ties to Temple at home and St. Francis Brooklyn on the road. The Broncs have fallen at Albany, Fairleigh Dickinson and Canisius in the span.
- The three-game winning streak was Rider's first since three-straight near the end of the Spring 2021 season (April 3-9 vs. Manhattan, Saint Peter's and Manhattan again in the MAAC Quarterfinals).
- The last time Rider won three-straight road games came in 2016.
- Included in Rodrigues' production was her first-career hat trick at Delaware State and the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win at Villanova. For her effort on the week, Rodrigues was named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week on Aug. 29.
- Sciancalepore didn't allow a goal against Villanova and Delaware State, including a seven-save performance against the Wildcats, to earn MAAC Defensive Player of the Week on Aug. 29.

Logan Racine scored the first goal of her collegiate career in the season opener at Wagner and added another tally at Delaware State to sit tied for third on the team with two goals (Dees).
- Six other Broncs have scored single goals, including
Margret Fridriksson,
Hailey Russell and Miranda Elmer, who've also dished out an assist. Â
- Freshman
Leonor Alves has dished out a pair of assists. She was recently called up to the Portugal U19 National Team.
- Freshmen
Margret Fridriksson and Miranda Elmer have each contributed games with a goal and an assist so far this season. Fridrikkson did it in the season opener on Aug. 18 at Wagner en route to MAAC Rookie of the Week honors, while Elmer achieved the feat on Aug. 28 at Delaware State.
- Fellow freshman
Jasmine Sims joined Elmer and Fridriksson in scoring during her collegiate debut at Delaware State, while
Olivia Smith also tallied her first-career goal at St. Francis Brooklyn.
- The Broncs were picked seventh in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll after reaching the MAAC Tournament for the ninth-straight year in 2021. The Broncs received one first-place vote.

Chloe Fisher was named to the Preseason All-MAAC Team after leading the Broncs with six goals, four assists and 16 points last season. She also earned All-MAAC Second Team honors. However, she's sat out thus far in 2022 due to injury.

Makenzie Rodrigues is also back this season. She's scored at least four goals in each of her first three seasons at Rider, including five last season. She's scored 15 goals for her career.
