STATEN ISLAND, NY –
Natya Glasco took first and second place finishes to lead the Rider University women's track and field team in the Wagner College Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
Teagan Schein-Becker,
Lydia Wallace,
Samantha Butler and
Mariah Stephens each added second-place finishes for the day.
Schein-Becker claimed a second-place finish in the 1mile run in 5:01.42.
Mackenzie Greenfield took fourth in 5:04.35, while
Oliva de la Torre Coca took seventh in 5:06.98.
Lydia Wallace took second place in the 500m dash with a time of 1:18.65. Glasco claimed second in the shot put with a mark of 13.22m, while teammates
Chika Efobi and
Joyce Omozee took fourth and seventh place with marks of 13.01m and 11.74m respectively.
Glasco took first place in the weight throw with a mark of 15.62m, and
Samantha Kamara took second with a mark of 14.98m, while
Angelina Tapia took fourth with a mark of 14.17m.
Samantha Butler claimed a second-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.40m, while
Mariah Stephens and
Karissa Watson finished fourth and fifth with marks of 5.34m and 5.30m.
Mariah Stephens took second place in the triple jump with a mark of 11.00m and Butler took third with a mark of 10.91m.
Allie Riches claimed a third-place finish in the pole vault with a mark of 3.55m.
Savanna Marcantonio finished third in the high jump with 1.60m, while
Karissa Watson and
Raisa Thunig took fourth and fifth each with marks of 1.50m.
