PHILADELPHIA, PA – For the fourth time this season and the second consecutive week,
Dylan Giloley shattered a Rider record, this time in the indoor 400 meters, with
Tamara Rawles joining her in the record book at the Penn Invitational. The Broncs also sent a group to compete at the two-day John Thomas Terrier Classic in Boston.
Giloley and Rawles both surpassed Sheree Duval's long-standing program record of 56.41, set in 1999. Giloley posted a time of 56.30, while Rawles followed closely with a 56.38 in the 400 meter event.
Kendall Howe added to the strong performances with a personal-best clearance of 3.47 meters in the pole vault.
Maria Chiariello also recorded a personal best in the weight throw, posting a mark of 15.73 meters.

John Thomas Terrier Classic – Day 1 Update
Maddie Dischert led the way finishing the 5K event in 16:59.86, a time that ranks No. 3 all-time in program history.
Julie Ruskan and
Cali Marck both had solid showings in the 1 mile event with Ruskan clocking 5:12.44 and Marck (5:19.44)
Grace Mangold in the 3000m open event in 10:30.46

Julie, Cali, and Grace all had some really nice breakthrough performances. They have worked really hard to overcome obstacles and setbacks to get to this moment. I'm really proud of their perseverance and dedication. They deserved these results today.
Maddie had a huge race in the 5k to set the number 3 mark all time at Rider. Maddie is having a great season and she took another big step forward today. She is on a whole new level this indoor season and it's very exciting to watch."
