What You Need To Know
- The Rider University wrestling team travels to Cleveland to take on the Cleveland State Vikings and the Edinboro Fighting Scots in a Tri-Dual for the third and fourth MAC duals of the season.
-The Broncs are currently 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the MAC.
-Rider is 5-2 in the all-time series against Cleveland State, the last meeting resulting in a 33-5 Bronc victory in January 2019 at Alumni Gym. The Broncs have won the last four against the Vikings.
-Rider is 4-8 in the all-time series against Edinboro, winning the last three meetings. Included in the streak was a 20-12 win for the Broncs on Jan. 17, 2020, in Lawrenceville.Â
- Most recently, the Broncs competed at the Southern Scuffle, earning 30 points and finishing 17
th out of 28 teams.

Quinn Kinner (Mullica Hill, NJ/Kingsway [Ohio State]) reached the podium after a 9-0 major decision and finished seventh.
- The Broncs finished 4
th of 8 teams at the Keystone Classic after tying Drexel with 99 points.

George Walton (Franklin, NJ/Bound Brook) won his second-straight 184 title at the Keystone Classic.

Richie Koehler (Middletown, NJ/Christian Brothers Academy),Â
Jake Silverstein (Hauppauge, NY/Smithtown [Nebraska]) and
David Szuba (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) each made the semifinals at 133, 157 and 285 respectively earlier in the season at the Keystone Classic.

John Hangey returns for his fifth season as head coach and has accumulated a 37-14 record in his short time as head coach, including a win against The University of Minnesota, who were ranked #6 at the time.
-During an abbreviated 2020-2021 season, the Broncs went 4-1 overall, and 2-0 in the MAC before heading to MAC Championships and the NCAA Championships.
- Intermat has named
Quinn Kinner (Mullica Hill, NJ/Kingsway [Ohio State]) and
Matt Correnti (Delran, NJ/Holy Cross [Rutgers]) to the All-MAC Second Team.
- Intermat ranks Richie Koelher as #28 in 133 lbs,
Quinn Kinner as #26 in 141 lbs, and
George Walton as #30 in 184 lbs.
- Wrestlestat also ranks the Broncs as #54 for dual meets and as #56 for tournaments.
- At the 2020-2021 NCAA Championships, the Broncs finished in 20
th place, totaling 22.0 points.
