LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Rider University track and field teams are set for the 2021 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Outdoor Championships. The two-day event takes place this Saturday and Sunday at the Michael P. Brady Track & Field Complex on the Rider University campus. While spectators are not permitted at this year's event, Saturday's events will be carried on BroncVision, while Sunday's events will be broadcast on ESPN+.
The Rider men and women are both looking to improve on their second-place finishes at each of the last three outdoor championships completed in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Last year's championships were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kristin Siegle leads the women's team, with the top finish in the MAAC this season in the 800 (2:10.83). The mark, set April 10 in a dual meet with Monmouth in Lawrenceville, broke the Rider program record. Siegle also has the third-best time in the 1500 (4:25.33), also a Rider record, and is part of the No. 3 4x400 relay team in the MAAC, along with
Alenys Morales, Oliva de la Torre Coca and
Mackenzie Greenfield (3:58.84).
- Morales has also posted the MAAC's top time in the 400 hurdles this season at 1:04.26.

Allie Riches has the MAAC's top mark in the pole vault this season, clearing 3.65m.

Lindsay Bauer has posted the No. 3 times in the MAAC this season in the high jump (1.60m) and triple jump (11.32m).

Karissa Watson enters MAAC Championships No. 3 in the long jump at 5.56m.

Grace Ramsey has the third-best javelin throw in the MAAC this season at 41.84m.

Artie Burgess, a three-time MAAC Track Performer of the Week this Spring, enters the meet with the top mark in the 200 (21.49), second-best in the 100 (10.82) and is part of the top 4x100 relay team in the league this year (41.24), along with Michael Cephas,
Marcquis Smallwood and
Jerome Boyer.

Kevin Heredia has posted the MAAC's top time in the 800 this year (1:51.53).
Tamrat Snyder also has the third-best time (1:51.71).

Marques Merriweather has the MAAC's best high jump of the year, clearing 2.01m. He's also second in the 110 hurdles (14.72).

Kevin Moran (14.98) also give the Broncs the No. 3 and 4 marks in the 110 hurdles this season.
