What You Need To Know
- The Rider University wrestling team travels to Central Michigan for its second MAC dual of the year.
- The Chippewas lead the all-time series, 3-1. The first meeting was a Broncs' victory in the 1992-93 season at the East Stroudsburg Open, before CMU took the next three - at the 2013 Virginia Duals, the 2015 Eastern Michigan Duals and a dual in 2019 at Rider.
- Rider looks to carry momentum from its MAC win over Northern Illinois, 20-14, on Nov. 13.

Joe Casey won his dual at 165 in his return to the mat when the Broncs faced Purdue.

George Walton (Franklin, NJ/Bound Brook) claimed his second-straight title at 184 as part of the Keystone Classic.

Richie Koehler (Middletown, NJ/Christian Brothers Academy) and
David Szuba (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) each took third place finishes in the Keystone Classic at 133 and 285, respectively.

John Hangey returns for his fifth season as head coach and has accumulated a 37-14 record in his short time as head coach, including a win against The University of Minnesota, who were ranked #6 at the time.
- During an abbreviated 2020-2021 season, the Broncs went 4-1 overall, and 2-0 in the MAC before heading to MAC Championships and the NCAA Championships.
- Rider finished second in the MAC last year
- Intermat has named
Quinn Kinner (Mullica Hill, NJ/Kingsway [Ohio State]) and
Matt Correnti (Delran, NJ/Holy Cross [Rutgers]) to the All-MAC Second Team.
- Intermat ranks Koelher as #31 in 133 lbs,
Quinn Kinner (Mullica Hill, NJ/Kingsway) as #22 in 141 lbs, and Walton as #33 in 184 lbs.
- Wrestlestat ranks the Broncs as #54 for dual meets and Northern Illinois as #31
- At the 2020-2021 NCAA Championships, the Broncs finished in 20
th place, totaling 22.0 points.
