Broncs, Hawks have split two MAAC Championship meetings all-time

What You Need To Know
- Sunday afternoon's game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
- Top-seeded Monmouth hosts eighth-seeded Rider in the MAAC Quarterfinals on Sunday. The two teams are squaring off for the second time this season. The last meeting on Sep. 29 resulted in a double-overtime draw, the only draw for the Hawks this season.
- In the draw against Monmouth, Ellie Sciancalepore posted her career-high for saves with 14.
- The Broncs qualified for the MAAC Championships for the ninth-straight year.
- Rider has an 11-13-2 record in the MAAC Tournament since the program's first year in 1997.
- Rider and Monmouth have squared off twice in the MAAC Championships, meeting in consecutive years in 2013 and 2014. Following a 3-0 loss in the 2013 semifinals in Lake Buena Vista, FL, Rider responded with a 1-0 win in West Long Branch in the 2014 semifinals.  
- Monmouth appeared in the MAAC Championship game during the 2020-21 abbreviated season, falling to Siena on PK's. The Hawks had won four-straight MAAC titles prior to 2020-21.
- Tied with Manhattan in the league standings, Rider took the eighth and final MAAC Championship berth by virtue of a 1-0 double-overtime win over the Jaspers on Oct. 9.
- Rider is currently 5-9-2, 3-6-1 MAAC on the season. The Broncs' most recently lost to Iona 2-0.  
- Rider opened MAAC play against reigning MAAC Champion Siena, where Makenzie Rodrigues added her first assist for the season when Chloe Fisher scored her fourth goal for the season.
- Against Monmouth, Ellie Sciancalepore posted her career-high with 14 saves in the draw. 
- Versus Manhattan, Fisher scored the lone goal in the second-overtime to secure the win.
- Hosting Marist, Hannah Freeman would score her second goal of the season, and Fisher would score her team-leading sixth goal for the season in overtime to earn a second-straight golden goal victory.
- Chloe Fisher leads the Broncs with 16 points coming from six goals and four assists, while Makenzie Rodrigues has a total of 12 points resulting from five goals and two assists.
- Ellie Sciancalepore has posted 81 saves in 1143 minutes in the net this season and has a save percentage of 0.818.
- Rachel Ross has posted 17 saves in 366 minutes in the net this season and has accumulated a .630 save percentage.
- Rider is 4-14-4 all-time against Monmouth. The last meeting between the teams occurred on Sep. 29.
- Monmouth clinched the 1st bid, and won the regular season, posting a 12-4-1, 8-1-1 MAAC record. Monmouth's lone tie came from the Broncs in a double-overtime draw.  
- Monmouth is currently 12-4-1, 8-1-1 MAAC, with losses to #16 Rutgers (6-0), Providence (3-1), Harvard (4-1), and MAAC opponent Marist (2-0). Monmouth has earned wins over Lehigh (1-0), NJIT (2-0), Delaware (2-0), Bucknell (3-2) and MAAC opponents Iona (2-1 OT) Quinnipiac (2-1), Saint Peter's (1-0), Niagara (3-2), Canisius (2-1), Siena (1-0), and Manhattan (3-1). The only tie on Monmouth's record comes from Rider (0-0 2OT).
- Lauren Karabin leads Monmouth with 14 points for the season resulting from the team-leading six goals and two assists. Jessie Rossman is next at 13 points from four goals and the team-leading five assists.
- Rebecca Winslow has seen 951 minutes of action in the net for the Hawks and posted 30 saves in the 2021 season so far with a save percentage of 0.714.
-Maddie Ogden has played 623 minutes and posted 20 saves for the Hawks in the net this season so far with a save percentage of 0.645.

- Against St. Francis Brooklyn, Chloe Fisher led the offense, scoring a goal herself, as well as assisting on both of Makenzie Rodrigues' goals and Emily Deluisi's (Philadephia, PA/Archbishop Ryan) goal to rack up three assists.
- Lindsey Maslow (Hanover, MA/Hanover) and  Nikki Arrington (Middletown, MA/Masconomet Regional) also contributed assists in the 4-2 victory over St. Francis Brooklyn.
- Against Villanova, Makenzie Rodrigues scored the lone goal that Rider had in the game.
-Chloe Fisher and Camryn Dees' (Pickerington, OH/Pickerington H.S. North) both assisted with the goal in the game versus Villanova.
-Against Temple, Nikki Arrington (Middleton, MA/Masconomet Regional) scored her first goal of the season and Ailis Martin (Mahopac, NY/ Mahopac) recorded her first assist of the season in the tie-game against Temple.
-NJIT fell to Rider 2-1 after Hannah Freeman (Lowville, NY/Lowville) scored her first goal, and Chloe Fisher scored her third for the season. Lindsey Maslow (Hanover, MA/Hanover) added an assist with Fisher's goal.
-In the game against NJIT, goalkeeper Ellie Sciancalepore (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) made both a 50-50 save and a diving save to help secure the Rider victory.
-Chloe Fisher led the offense against Bucknell, posting five shots for the team, three of which were on goal.
-The Broncs were picked fifth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches Poll. Niamh Cashin (Nottingham, England/All Saints Academy) and Makenzie Rodrigues were selected for the Preseason All-MAAC Team.
- Makenzie Rodrigues is the reigning MAAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year,  sharing the honor with Karabin.
